Locate & Order Copies of Real Property Records:

• Search real property indices online via this Self-Service Portal.
• Document images are viewable at our office kiosk only. 
• Documents may be purchased by adding your selection to the cart. Copy types explained below:
  • Official Record Copy - Plain copy deliverable by email.
  • Certified Copy - Duplicated version of an original document verifiable and a legally acceptable substitute in legal contexts. Deliverable by mail only.
• Orders are completed at our service counter or by calling 530-666-8130. 
• Clerk-Recorder personnel do not perform searches.

Search tips:

• Property records are indexed by grantor and grantee names.
• See a list of the full name of each document type (PDF).
• Some commonly used words in the Grantee/Grantor names are abbreviated, see the list (PDF).

Updates and corrections usually occur within 3 business days of the recording date. Neither the County nor the County Clerk-Recorder shall incur any liability for errors or omissions with respect to the information provided in this index. 

Use of the General Index search utility is limited to individuals via the web-form interface provided by the Yolo County Clerk-Recorder. Any other access to or use of the utility and/or its data is prohibited, including but not limited to any means of automated, scripted, unattended or "robotic" data collection, data "mining" or "scraping".
